The youth conference was a great success. One of the absolute highlights of our mission. We wanted to send a couple of pictures, but we had a very hard time deciding which few. We only took over 500 pictures. We have so many more that we'd love to share. Can you believe that we had over 450 youth and absolutely no behavior problems? The Youth Conference was planned and organized by a couple of the mission couples and then executed by the Mongolian leaders. They were so well organized and regimented that it was like watching a professional production. We learned so many wonderful ideas of things that work with youth. The first picture is Dad and I sitting on the banks of the river atTerelj a couple of weeks before youth conference. The next is the t-shirt logo that was used. Look up Mosiah 5:15. Then as we arrived at the camp. We have sent mostly the youth from Khailaast Branch, thought you might like to get to know them. Then there are pictures of the little houses that the youth stayed in. Each branch made a flag for their group, aren't they beautiful. One thing that we've noticed here is that they can produce some beautiful graphics! Then, we have included pictures of our quilting project for the orphanage. We made 33 quilts, 50 scarves and hats, 40 school bags with supplies, and 25 dolls. We'll send more pictures along as we email. Dad was the photographer and you know he's good! They put together a slide show at the end of the conference of candid and posed shots from all over the mission and guess who had more shots in the show? Dad! We may go into business! Notice Sis Hitchmough and I had on hats and I had on a scarf? It was freezing the first day. We were in the tops of the mountains and we had clouds that were low enough that we had mist, and guess who didn't bring coats?
