13th Century National Park

These pictures were taken last week when we went with the Seniors to the 13th Century National Park East of Ulaanbaatar over many, many miles of unpaved roads. It was like goingback in time. It was truly magnificent and something that we will never forget. We rode horses, camels, stayed overnight in a ger and had a real Mongolian Barbecue down at the river, cooked by our mission driver, Baatar and his wife, and one of the counselors in the Mission Presidency, Batbold and his wife. This has been a real booster for all of us. We can now see why Mongolians look forward to going to the Countryside in the summertime. We love this country, the people and the culture. We are so thankful to have this experience. We miss you all and pray for you always. Wish you could be here with us. Tomorrow it's back to work. We have visitors from Hong Kong and look forward to receiving instructions and encouragement in our assignments. This week is also Zone Conferences and we have a bridge call with Salt Lake on Wednesday early morning.
