Naadam

We went to Naadam opening ceremony today. You can see the image of Chinggis Khaan and the Mongolian Ensignia on the mountain displayed with white stones. The mountains surrounding the stadium are gorgeous. They will hold the wrestling and archery events in the stadium. We saw some of them. We've included pictures of the archers, but for some reason Dad didn'tget pictures of the wrestlers...they dress kind of skimpy. The horseracing is out of town in the countryside. They are showing it ona big screen at the stadium and all of these events are also on television. We have tickets to go again tomorrow. We really enjoyed being with the Mongolian people on this very special holiday. Many people come dressed in their traditional clothing. The colors are gorgeous. Wish you could be here to enjoy this with us. We had four baptisms tonight. The church is growing so fast. Many people are reading the Book of Mormon and gaining their own testimonies of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We love it here. You would too. We miss and love ou all.
