Here are a few more pictures of our trip last week. This statue of Chinggis Khaan is really big and has been under construction for sometime. They are building a Restaurant underneath it and you can seethe men on the roofline behind Dad. It is really big and can be seen for miles. There are a couple of pictures of the Shaman's ger and some of the things he works with, and his wife. Also, a little Mongolian girl who was a great singer. The Birthday Cake was in the back of our car when we were driving over the really rough roads. Itwas so rough we had to hold on to the handles on the sides of the car. It was Sister Stroud's birthday and we celebrated it on Thursday night at the Ger Camp. When we pulled it out of the box, it was so funny. We laughed till we cried. We had no idea it would be in such bad shape. But, it was still delicious. Also a couple of pictures of the Buddhist Monastery which we had to walk across a wooden suspension bridge and then climb up 108 steps to get to. Then, the last pictureis the Tree of Life at a hotel near the river cook out.
