Dad was called to be the 2nd counselor in the BP at Khailaast and also to be a member of the District Council. I'm still just shaking hands and smiling. I can do that. The other counselor in the BP doesn't speak any English. The BP translates between Dad and him. They asked yesterday if I could teach music. Can you believe that? The young people here are eager to learn. I wish that I had applied myself so much more when I had the opportunity to learn and practice. I can practice piano at the service center, but there is always an audience. Guess I'm going to have to get rid of some of this pride. When I woke up this AM I thought, I don't know a lot about music, but I can read the lines and spaces, I know timing, and I can play at least 2 songs in the new book. I can teach as much as I know. The Lord is the talent giver. I know that He has blessed some of these children to be able to grasp what little I can teach and go with it on their own and teach themselves. Who knows, there may be another Grissett, Goldstein, Liberace in the world! Wouldn't that be wonderful! We are going to be very busy this week. We have a piece of equipment being delivered today that will take the place of 5 machines in our little office, so we will have a lot more space after that. We are thrilled. It will fax, copy, print and scan, in COLOR, even! Our supervisors from Hong Kong will be here for 5 days. We are looking forward to it very much. They are coming to be trained in how to train their country directors. This will be fun. They are the ones who came through the training at the MTC with us and have become great friends. They are from southern California. We had a great snow last week, but it didn't stay long. The sun shines most every day, but today it's really cloudy and humid. The smoke is laying close to the ground for some reason. Sure would love to see the beach. Maybe someday. Enjoy for us. We love you, take care, have a great week.
