More callings

These pics are taken from the side of the church to the west, north,
and east. The church is built in the middle of a ger district. Many
people live in gers, but many also have built houses. There is no
city planning, few paved streets, very few have electricity or running
water or inside toilets. But, they come to church all neat and tidy.
They are a very happy people, especially the ones who have come into
the church. Their young people are terrific, very strong testimonies
and great speakers. Dad received two callings today. He is the 2nd
counselor to the Branch President and also on the District Council.
The BP's first counselor only speaks Mongolian, the BP speaks
Mongolian and English. My job is to smile and shake hands. I love it.
I hope that I will work with the youth. Their teenagers are really
something. Dad was asked to bear his testimony in Sacrament Meeting.
He did it partly in Mongolian and partly in English with a translator.
They asked him to tell them about Patriarchal Blessings in Priesthood
Class and he did that with one of the English speaking missionaries
translating. I'm going to try to send these pics. I'm still having
trouble with email. We love you all so very much. The gospel of
Jesus Christ and the plan of happiness is absolutely true. We pray
that you all will apply its teachings in your lives. We love you.
